Yes
Current images are limited to editions of 50 prints. Each print will have a unique edition number which will be clearly marked on the image.
Digital imaging techniques make it easy for people to pass off somebody else's work as their own. For this reason, a discreet signature will be added to all my prints.
Absolutely!
When selling a "multiple" the law requires the seller to provide a "Certificate of Authenticity." A "multiple" is defined as any fine print, photograph, sculpture cast, collage, or similar art object produced in more than one copy. A fine print or "print" means a multiple produced by, but not limited to, engraving, etching, woodcutting, lithography and serigraphy and multiples produced or developed from photographic negatives or any combination thereof.
They're included in the price!
The safe transit of each canvas is of utmost importance to me. Unmounted prints are sent rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube and sent first class recorded. Stretched canvases are foam-wrapped, then packed into a sleeved double-walled carton and sent via courier.
No, the edges are coloured black.
I've found image-wrapping to be a generally negative experience as many important details within a picture are contained close to the edges. Likewise I've found a white edge to be too distracting when viewing a print from an angle. For these reasons, all my prints have black edgings which are easier on the eye and allow you to see the complete image to the face of the canvas.
Ultimately, the value of a print is decided by many factors:
Giclée printing.
All my prints are made from high-resolution computer generated files, printed onto Hahnemuhle 350g Premium Canvas using Epson K3 pigmented inks whose longevity is rated equal to or better than traditional silver gelatin prints
The quality of the giclée print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.
After printing the image is coated with a high quality semi-matte protective varnish and left to cure for 24 hours, after which the images are mounted into stretcher boxes if required before shipment.
It's a name given to my illustation style.
Some of my photographs are post-processed in a way to make them look like paintings, rather than photographs. Outlines are accentuated, colours are altered to be more vivid and an overall surreal atmosphere is created.
The thumbnail images on this site do not really do these images justice - the effects are simply stunning!
